My rear shocks (I think its the shocks) have a TERRIBLE squeak when im driving at any speed. Its when the road has a bump in it (tiny ass bump so its virtually always there). :suicide: When I open the rear (slider) window the sound is so loud the music just cant go loud enough!

Has anyone had this problem?

Im taking her into the dealer this week and praying they find something wrong lol.

Yeah I've got the same squeek. Sounds like rubber. I suspect it's the shock or shock bushing.

Took mine to the dealer and they said they couldn't hear it.

I hope you have better luck. Let me know if you do and what they find.

it's either the leaf spring contact pads - which you just need to slather grease on.

or

your tailgate step.

just jump up and down in your bed and you'll know where it's coming from.

Bypass shocks definitely make noise when they're cycling through the stroke.

Sorry Charlie....

For sure it is the spring bushings and for sure it is NOT the shocks! Raptizzle has true FOX External Bypass shocks on his Raptor and they will click and clatter a lot because of the external check valves. All the rest of us have Internal Bypass shocks and they don't make noise because all the bypass is holes and shims are inside the shock?

No apologies needed and for the sake of the OP, I hope it is something like the tailgate making the noise. However, reading the title to the thread sure made me think the shocks would be the culprit. After all, we can only go off what is typed in these little black boxes and not "real world" diagnosing.

Some people can be more **** than others and the smallest of sounds can sometimes be enough to cause frustration...

And yes, my external bypass's definitely click enough to let you know they're there.
