Rear shocks annoying noise?

Lift the rear of the truck so that the axle hangs......use a pry bar to spread the ends of the leafs away from eachother and then you can apply the grease in the needed areas. The thing though is to make sure you wrap a piece/corner of a rag around the pry bar, that way, you don't put gouge marks in the leafs which could lead to rust or debris sitting in the gouge and causing more squeaking.

Gents, I would imaging there are others out there that have cleaned and greased the hell out of the rear leaf springs and all the contact points, but still have the hay wagon squeek. The method above worked for some of the noise but not the worse one. Finally took my 2011 into the dealer when I was able to make it creak by pushing down on the rear bumper with just my finger. (had to stay on-road for 2 weeks as mud\water runs or even getting them wet made it go away)

Have the dealer refer to SSM2281 - seems they replaced the spring tip inserts, took 3.5 hrs - under warranty - and the squeek is gone
