When i drive over bad roads with holes and bumps ( normal in belgium ) there is a noise under my care in the rear like metal hitting each other. But it's only when i brake are don't hit the gas. When i gave throttle the sound is gone? Its like there is something lose or backlash between something?
Is this a problem with my driveshaft?

Thx guys

Search for "the clunk"

Probably the driveshaft traveling forward as you stop (as designed)

There is also a service bulletin on this condition and a solution

It could be that slab of steel on the frame rail that acts like a harmonic balancer, the bolts are probably really loose, most people cut it off, there is lots of info on here about it.
