The ram is taller. Plus bigger shocks/coilovers and bypasses. Not really a fair fight.

Really, it needs to be a performance for the dollar comparison. Saw a good comment on Facebook I thought I would share:

Compare everything, not just performance; complete costs of the parts (the kit and aftermarket wheels and tires that are required, as well as anything else that is required for proper install), complete costs of all the shipping charges, all the labor involved (account for every hour; don't assume JoeBlow is doing it all in his driveway over a month or two), factory warranties... and then tell us about performance. Without that complete picture, you're doing both trucks, both companies and your readers a disservice.

that is a good comment..although it just drives me nuts about all the ignorant people that probably drive honda ridge lines or something saying oh I bet the raptors frame bends and all kinds of crap.

and the classic "they're lucky there isn't a chevy out there"

YES
So many idiots on YouTube make comments like that, they see a video of a raptor and say "I bet he bent his frame"
Or someone asks how good they are Offroad, and again the classic "they suck their frames bend"

Or the ones who say only 5% of people use em Offroad and the rest dot cause they don't want a bent frame.

I've gotta say the raptor is probably one of the few vehicles that gets used how it's meant to be by majority of owners.

raptor for sure. the dodge was a regular 1500, you send it to mopar and they put on a modified suspension, still running a coil suspension in the rear....we all know TT rigs run coils in the rear and not leafs and coilovers :ROFLJest:

They do run coils(overs) in the rear. Unless I detected sarcasm and it wasn't there.
