did your truck fall off a mountain ? ive had none of these issues . and I would bet my house ,ford tech 1 knows a million times more about these trucks than u do . and he's right the aluminum is far stronger than the steel .that comment alone tells me everything .

Aluminum is not stronger than steel. Nothing to debate, these are physical properties of metal. If you are saying it is steonger per unit weight, sure. But the body on these trucks is paper thin to save weight.

If ford tech knows so much, he should know the cam phaser is a MAJOR issue. Hence Ford is extending warranties. Maybe dealer screwed up. Either way, truck had been in shop a long time for quite a few issues. Phasers replaced first, 12 months later cel and sensor replaced. Couple months later cel, solenoid replaced. Several months down the road and rattle back with prolonged turnover on startup and back to phaser replacement again. Not making this crap up.
