Does anyone have contact info for a good broker? I am almost ready to pull the trigger on a 2013 raptor and have already been told by local dealer in houston (Planet Ford)that the common practice is $5,000 + MSRP. They said they would "cut me a deal" and do $3000 + MSRP if i ordered. I figured this was B.S. and would rather go through a broker anyway and order since i can wait to get the best deal.

Any info would help... thx

As a local Houstonian....**** Planet Ford :shooter:

My dealer is on stand by as soon as the 2014s are released to place my order. They told me invoice price is what they'd charge. After reading all of this and discussing details with them they couldn't really argue. I'll update with dealer info and actual price when it's confirmed.

I can't remember which thread but the newest rumor is that SVT said they have no intentions of discontinuing the raptor. Honestly I think we can all agree it wouldn't be a smart move. I can't find one dealer who's had one on their lot for more than a month. I have high hopes. Worst case I have to hope there's a new 13 on a lot somewhere that I can buy. Might wait if that happens.

On a positive note, if you read through the posts from the SnoBall 500 when they toured SVT, the SVT folks said they have no plans to stop making the Raptor. That doesn't mean the bean counters say otherwise but at least SVT seemed positive about a 2014.

LOL! I just post this and then see your post!

If I remember correctly, it had to do with CAFE standards more than money. Don't get me wrong...I would love to buy a 2014 instead of a 2013...looks like we're in the same boat, MobileBeats.
