Please tell me you're kidding!!

Dan doesn't even have license plates or an official home address. He's like the Dos Equis guy when it comes to insurance. He gets checks sent to his PO box whenever he drives.

Stay thirsty my friends.

Insurance Quote on a Raptor. What?!!!

So, I just went onto Allstate's website and plugged in my info.

I'm 21. Have had my License since 16. I have a Commercial Class B license with no restrictions. And, I've had no accidents or violations.

They quoted me $261/mo!

You have got to be kidding me.

It's obviously been discussed here before. But a quote like that is enough to disgust me from buying a Raptor.

Please tell me that this can't be right.

BTW, quote was for a 2012 SCrew Raptor, specifically.

That's probably right. Its your age. I have had sports cars my whole life. When I was 21, I had a 300ZX Twin Turbo and my insurance was 225 a month. Insurance drops at 25 and again at 30. I am 35 and the raptor is gonna be 74 a month. perfect record, no tickets or accidents

hey im a member of usaa.com check it out if you would like i can send you to them, and now i was not in the military, my father was and they have been very helpful. they pretty much do everything from checking to auto insure, to auto loan. and much much more. other insurance companies were quoting my father for 250 to 400 dollars on his truck for an 09 other brand truck and usaa.com quoted him 138 a month. so give them a try you must be in the military or have a family member in the military to become a member or i can do the share with friend just private message me with email address.

Whats up getpower i had the same issue last year i had quotes from state farm and geico. Im 21 as well I've had 1 ticket 17 over speed limit was dropped to defective equipment 2 points instead of 3 or 4 which was nice, they quoted me on my 2011 screw at 380/mo. Told them to screw off Geico was at 310/mo again told them to screw off lol Bill from SF clued back and said ill do 270 said no way. after a month or so i went with horace mann which is a sub of progressive and since i worked for Adams 12 Five Star Schools i got a discount paying around 120 a month for full coverage was the lowest i could find.

I'll PM you, but nobody in my family has had anything to do with the Military.

That quote is just unbelievable. I understand my age, but really? These insurance companies are ****** us.

There's a reason that I drive the way that I drive, and I don't get a single thing for it. It's like I should be driving like a friggin idiot just because they expect it. I'm not getting my money's worth.

---------- Post added at 08:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:21 PM ----------

I expect 120/month at worst.

Anything else aint right.

Maybe I could also go through my dad or something. My '04 F150 was 125/mo through him. I cant see the Raptor being much worse if I go that route.
