This is Southern Taxifornia - I have no insurance and why should I? There's no penalty if you don't. Besides most other drivers have it and their insurance will pay for any damage my driving may cause. And their insurance will pay for me to visit all kinds of doctors to get medical treatment for everything that ails me. And then I'll visit my lawyer who will be happy to sue you so he and I can get rich thanks to the this ever-giving country.

Please tell me you're kidding!!

I have three vehicles on my policy but the Raptor ends up being $382/year in North Carolina through USAA with a $500 deductible...that's full coverage.

My '91 Landcruiser is almost as much as the Raptor and it has just liability insurance...go figure.

That's 1/2 of what I pay with the same insurance company in the same state. I have 1 ticket for 10 mph on my record about a year and half ago. If you don't mind me asking, how much is the multi-car discount? Trying to figure out why mine is nearly twice as much.

$78 a month for primo coverage, in the 50's for state minimum. This is all amazing since Mass. used to have state run insurance and only 2 insurance companies. I paid 2800 a year for a 94 Wrangler which they valued at 2200. Granted I had a...colorful....driving history so these new rates are a breath of fresh air. 25 years old...

We don't know Dan the Magic Man very well, do we Brady? <G> Let's just say Dan is known for his slightly "tongue in cheek" attitude on SEVERAL boards <G>... but we love him anyway! Me thinks he just got himself confused with his many 'neighbors'. <G>

And the Panda Man... who knows what he is saying... heck, he is speakin a damn ferin language! (DAMN that tower of Babel anyway... <G>) But I think he said something about a banana. LOL

Dan doesn't even have license plates or an official home address. He's like the Dos Equis guy when it comes to insurance. He gets checks sent to his PO box whenever he drives.

Stay thirsty my friends.
