I pay $341.81 every six months, so $683.62 per year.

What stunned me is the yearly license fee. It's nearly as much as six months of insurance.

That is why I am getting truck plates (bl12) instead of passenger plates. Passenger uses taxable hp, and truck uses gvwr..

So, I just went onto Allstate's website and plugged in my info.

I'm 21. Have had my License since 16. I have a Commercial Class B license with no restrictions. And, I've had no accidents or violations.

They quoted me $261/mo!

You have got to be kidding me.

It's obviously been discussed here before. But a quote like that is enough to disgust me from buying a Raptor.

Please tell me that this can't be right.

BTW, quote was for a 2012 SCrew Raptor, specifically.

Unfortunately you are that age group that accounts for around 75% of all accidents so thank any of your friends who have had the DUI's or rear ended someone while texting, playing with the stereo, etc. It really does suck that the honest smart people get to pay for them.

It also depends on what State you live in and the density of population in your area.
Which figures into the mathematical probability of Risk Factor.

lol ya little by little I'm getting there its a nice ride though

Just search for the cheapest cut rate insurance you can find then avoid any claims for the next 5 years. Kind of like the don't you dare get sick health insurance plans most companies offer nowadays.

I'm gonna see what it'd be up here lmao.

Wow, surprisingly it's only 142 a month up here. That's less than I thought.

USAA 98 / mo ....i have about 2 tickets on my record tho (rice burner days). Don't feel bad. USAA quoted me at 335 for the raptor when I was in Germany. international coverage really screws you. I had AIG / chartis over there and was paying 225/month. I feel your pain.
