So, Just to update on this issue. I finally took the raptor into my local Ford dealer after the month long wait for an appt.
I had 2 complaints,
1. The Rain sensing wipers stopped sensing rain.
2. Everytime I hit a speed bump the speakers would chirp twice.
They had it for the day and this is what they said when I picked it up. The Ford accessory dash camera that was installed after the truck was delivered came from Ford and is a plug and play. They unplugged it and all issues went away, plugged it back in and the chirp came back but the rain sensing is still good. I verified that the rain sensing wipers do function now and the chirp is still there. The dash cam is a Ford accessory that was added after the truck was built. The only issue I can potentially see is that it came with a module that will send a signal to the computer to keep the camera on when the autostop engaged, and mine has the auto stop delete so I will try it with that module unplugged and tell you what happens. This sounds like an aftermarket item that Ford sells as an accessory that may create a bug in the computer to cause it to chirp, well see. BTW, the service mgr, said he put a note into Ford about it but it will be a few weeks before they respond, I will follow up.
