Any other suggestions out there other than tape?

What did you replace it with?

Nothing. When I installed the Boatec front fenders, I just decided to take all the tape off, even removed the hood wrap. Eventually went with a wrap on the bottom but mostly for marketing reasons......




Designs & Signs, a vendor on here, did the wrap. He can do just about any color or size you might want or need. Super easy to install and very durable.

Is clear 3m different from xpel? If it's just clear material that might be on the high side but if it's more like xpel that seems like an average price.

the 3m was just a different brand of the clear wrap. both seams similar to me and the price was about the same on both brands.
