When I saw the gen2 in person, I wondered about the rear upper shock mounts but watching that video is it an optical illusion or does that mount seem to move quite a bit? I am going to assume that over time with metal moving like that, that we are going to be seeing these break. Vendors will be making reinforcements for this area to improve upon what looks like a flaw.

Did the gen2 only pass one vehicle on that video?

I agree with your assessment. Also doesn't the video look like it's been sped up a tad when the shocks are shown ? Also looks as if the shock is going to hit the tire.

I can guarantee you will see those break. As a matter of fact, RPG made a frame brace kit for the new F150 that replaces the top mount and moves the reversed mount back to the front where it's supposed to be.

One doesn't get many opportunities to pass when one is in the lead. Lol!

Guess you didn't watch the video where it got passed consistently.

Yes, I am aware of what RPG is offering to move it. I would say one of the first upgrades will be doing that, a bump stop and leaf springs, then upgrade the 3.0's to adjustable ones. I imagine other vendors will offer reinforcement like the LGE/CTS does currently but will become more common place with multiple vendors.

Considering what has been done (not really much other than swapping shocks and leafs), why is limiting straps needed for the front and rear though?

Right. Nothing "sounds" as "good" as that ol' 6.2. Better? You won't have to worry about hearing how bad this engine sounds in person. You won't get close enough to hear it. ;)

Thanks for posting the video. In the shots of the rear suspension, there's something bolted on the frame rail that doesn't look OEM. I wonder, is there some sort of aftermarket frame cross-brace installed?

3) Did that suspension travel tethering say "Mastercraft" or Motorcraft?
Is that Baja version less restricted in the exhaust department or is that accurate? I'm thinking it is probably a little dirty? Sounded pretty good though
The tethering is limit straps. Mastercraft makes seats, limit straps, etc.

Great video, assume that's not stock suspension? Hope mine sounds like that.
Front & rear shocks are not stock. Had to be changed to account for all the added weight from the roll cage, spares, tools, etc.

Considering what has been done (not really much other than swapping shocks and leafs), why is limiting straps needed for the front and rear though?
Deavers give the rear more travel, limit straps protect shocks from over extension.
