GEN 2 Quick and likely dumb Question on something making me nutty

Just picked up a 2019 ruby with 802A option group.

I have ordered a manual so normally I would look this up.

The cup holders illuminate when I start the truck from the fob but then when I get in and press the button to start the truck they go out. Why?

I've seen a lot on the web about aftermarket kits for cup holders and the footwells but nothing about why these lights go out.

Thanks in advance for some help with a basic question. I've been active on forums with other cars and look forward to doing the same here.

Are you wanting the lights to stay on? If so, I believe the setting is in the SYNC vehicle settings under ambient lightning. Sometimes it likes to turn itself off
