HPA systems High pressure cylinder and Air jack is great!!

My 2 ton Pro Eagle is nice but after one use in my driveway it sprung a leak. They did replace it under warranty free of charge. The second one would not lift the truck or even my lawn mower so another one was sent and so far it has worked well but only used about 6 times since and not on the trail yet. Now all this boxing and shipping was a pain but at no cost to me. They are a good company and I believe my experiences are very uncommon. I have not seen any real complains about them. I do think the 3ton is better for out trucks but its also bigger and heavier.

I have both the Pro Eagle and HPA but now am moving to carry only the HPA system on runs. I have their large Aux Air 66 and their Aux Air 46 cylinders, the Jack and a bunch of their accessories. I am friends with the founder/owner/engineer of HPA so I have become a little biased and a bit of a fan boy.

Good luck and my best advise it to get a nice solid piece of wood to put under what every you use to spread the weight out so it will not sink in to sand and soft ground.

It looks like just a long travel airbag with a handle? am I missing something? I'd just as well get a single long travel airbag, make a base and top, then just valve it to use with my OBA. seems like i'd save myself a couple hundred bucks just building one myself.

I'd love to understand what makes the HPA unit so special. ( seriously). What am I missing?

I went with the 2 ton pro eagle....... only because it seems like there are more mounting options for them. "just in case" i decide to start carrying it in the bed.

You pretty much hit it on the head. If you can build it I would probably do so.

I am not friends with the owner and actually researched other generic air jacks on eBay, Aliexpress etc. and in the end bought the HPA one when it was on discount because the price differential was minimal and I was supporting a Raptor dude. I am a fan of the product generally and the HPA implementation seems to be done well.

It has a internal telescoping support system, not sure if others do the same, and it has max pressure valve. When I first saw it I was like well it will just fall over ie no side to side stability but after finding out it has a structure and testing it out I was sold. It is a more expensive option over a floor jack since it needs a air system of some sort to work theirs or something else.

I like it a lot and I am very critical of products which comes for years of racing rally and learning about the benefit of top quality products that won't let you down in a pinch. Their stuff is worth a look but in the end each person makes their decisions on what works for them or their budget.

Does the HPA lift a Raptor off the ground, at least one corner? I tried a different airbag and popped it, possibly too much pressure, but my truck was barely off the ground? Thanks

Yes. You can easily get a wheel off. You're not gonna droop suspension or anything but good luck doing that with a floor jack in one movement anyway.

with the tall proeagle extension ( I have both the tall and short extensions ), I don't have any issue drooping out front mid-travel (17.5"ish of travel) or rear suspension ( 21" or travel ) in one lift of the jack.

I have additional rear frame cross-members welded in and my rear bumper is also welded on. I can droop the truck using either spot.

My rear suspension has approx 10" of down travel.

all that being said, it works on 37s. I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks if it works with 40s too.

Dang thank you guys for all the info. I'll look more into the HPA option as I didn't realize it had an internal structure. I thought it was just a bag and felt like that wouldn't be stable. Most likely will still go with the pro eagle but I definitely want to research more before I actually purchase.
