POLL: If Ford offers engine option (V6 and V8), which one would you pick?

Which engine would you choose in the 2017 raptor?

What if we did a poll on how "robust" we think the new ford electronic fancy transfer case and such will stand up to owner abuse?

Engine I think is a mute point. Either you like it or you don't and no matter what will make the truck move. All the new electronics to me are adding to much complexity to something that now is rather dumb. More tech is harder to fix on the trail. Just a thought.

And I voted on V8

why would you do a poll on something we know nothing about? So any comments would be be just a wild guess.

In my opinion I want a truck/vehicle with technology in it. I am sorry but I am not paying 50-60K for a vehicle that has old technology. If you want a vehicle that can be easily serviced on the trail then get an old jeep.

2017 Ford F-250 Caught Testing

"Caught out testing months ahead of a public debut, this is the 2017 Ford F-250 pickup — the Super Duty version of the aluminum-bodied F-150. As with the new light-duty trucks, the Super Duty revamp is expected to include aluminum bodywork, along with the revised 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel, or either an upgraded 3.5-liter Ecoboost V-6 or a new 5-liter twin-turbo V-8, all routed through a new 10-speed automatic transmission. Much like previous generations, the Super Duty line will mimic the F-150s styling, and its bevy of new safety technology."

Yeah saw that too. 6.2 is officially history when the Super Duty redesign hits the ground.:okay2:

If there really is a 5.0 ttv8 in he 2017 model super duty how in the hell is it not going to be in the Raptor? Is that engine a 100% in the super duty? If so I would bet the Raptor would get it. It wouldnt make sense to have a ttv6 in the Raptor and have the ttv8 in other truck offerings.

I dont know what to think anymore!
