Are you trolling? It's one of the best out there with options of $0 deductibles is a steal.

I suppose if you get the super base one with the high deductible it is but why would you opt for ****** coverage for a performance vehicle.
Agreed. I have the bumper to bumper ESP that includes headlights, taillights, and keys, etc. The Ford extended warrant is one of the best.

I have a CPO BMW with the CPO extended warranty and if I need work they either try to make an excuse not to do it, or try and talk me out of it. It’s like they don’t want to do it.

The ironic thing is, the Ford dealerships in my area are garbage, as far as service, while the BMW mechanics are fantastic.

Repeat oil pan replacement is 99% techs fault.Surface prep is critical, let sealer cure at least 24 hours.Use 'Baby Wipes' ,a towelettes with a chemical that promotes adhesion, most tecs dont use them,If they are not charged out on RO Ford can deny warranty repair. Raptors are not the only Ford engine with plastic pans 2.7s 3.0s and others also have plastic. The metal pans also leak, Resealed one on a 18 Navigator last month. Dan,25 year Ford Senior Master Tec.

Thanks. I'm sure a big part of the problem is that I don't have a home dealer that I always go to, and I live in a rural state.

I get whatever warranty comes with the truck when you buy it. It is like pulling teeth to get anything done. IWE issues took 3-4 months to get fixed and I still have issues. It was a hassle to get my headlights replaced when the adjusters were non functional. I have been in for leaky oil pans twice now, each time taking 3 trips to get done, thats about 6+ hours of driving for me... and my oil pan still leaks. Oh, and I love that both times they drained my synthetic oil and replaced it with regular oil... On my last ford, I had rear end issues, they tried to say nothing was wrong, then they put new fluid "with friction modifiers" and that was going to fix it. Eventually after 3 trips I made enough of a stink that they pulled the rear end apart.... turns out all the internals needed to be replaced.... guess it wasn't nothing after all.

In short, you have to make multiple trips and BEG for them to do anything, and maybe 50% of the time they actually repair it.

If I could pay less and opt out of their ****** warranty, I would.

Coming from someone who has owned SCREW 4x4 F150s for the last decade and have probably made 20 trips to the dealer total.

Heard back from Ryan at RMB Motorworks. They custom machine their own pan AND pickup, the pickup has a new/better location, it comes with everything you need, and it comes with instructions. Ordering one right now.

Following this. Wondering how much of a PITA this install will be. As I said before, if someone just make a copy of the plastic pan but in aluminum, it would just be swapping the pan.
