I honestly don't see that happening. He told me if they flaunted their rides and all that he would cut them off with the nice things. He was sincere too!

Hopefully the butt hurt group sees this. I haven't seen this much immaturity by grown ass men in a while. And I'm a member of multiple forums.

More like a difference in philosophy of raising your kids to be good citizens. One camp feels the kids needs to learn the value of money and hard work. The other wants to hand the kid, deserving of not, everything on a silver platter.

I think the whole discussion is pointless. Parenting and financial management tips are not what this forum is about. It's about Raptors. That is a nice Raptor. What one chooses to do with ones money and ones kids is their business. If the post had read "Thinking of buying my 17 year old kid a Raptor. Opinions?", THEN I think this discussion becomes relevant. He didn't ask for nor he deserved, needed or wanted parental or financial advice. A simple "nice Raptor" would have been enough. All other commentary is quite frankly unnecessary.
