Premature wear on the boots cv and the like.

I've been on top perch for 36000 miles...CVs are fine. I wouldn't let that stop you from doing the adjustment. Top perch has saved my ass in quite a few situations if anything lol. More pros than cons from a perch adjustment Fer sure...if anything happens just put it back on stock perch bfore u let warranty fix it all for free!

Top perch on 2012s and later have pretty much been vetoed down on this forum. Mid perch seems ok but I'm still not convinced.

36K on top perch and that's with some hard off-roading?

I'm staying with the minority for now on stock (bottom) perch. I personally would probably go mid perch if I knew it had no detrimental effect.

Top perch on a 2012 that I tear up offroad on a regular basis....was at Raptoberfest and TRR and used to frequent the Baja short track in floresville before it closed. I've always broken something steering related (2 pumps and a rack), two sets of leaf-springs, scratched the paint a few times , shredded a set or two of tires damn near off the wheel , and other than a few interior pieces falling apart not a single problem with the trucks suspension or anything front drivetrain related.
My good friend from college is my service guy at ford so he loves all the warranty work I bring him and always takes care of my truck.

Yeah bro I literally have pushed that truck so hard it's not even funny....might not have a co-driver after how hard a i ran it at Raptoberfest lol

I'n my honest opinion Top Perch is the best setting for anyone looking to get the most out of their truck especially on these raptor runs. My friend russel has a stage 4 rpg truck and he was dragging the front through some of the yard sales. A lot of guys on mid perch where dingin the front skids and bumpers up. I didn't drag the front on any of those real steep declines and I'm sure it's cuz the added stiffness and height of top perch. It's an extra 1.25 in than mid and 2.5inches taller than stock. And if u like to run ur truck hard in 2wd like I do than it's even better cuz the trucks balance is a bit different and the rear end feels a lot more planted when ur really pushin it.
Top perch isn't the best for daily driving cuz it drives a lot more like a truck now and not the escalade smooth ride u had from the dealer. Front also catches a lot more wind so it can get a lil squally when the wind is really kickin. Personally I like it better that way...feels more like the truck it was meant to be and not some saggy nose diving Cadillac that rides like it's on air ride. I get to feel every crack and bump in the road lol!
I also had to get a camber and alignment kit. Alignment was a bit of a pain but after a few tries we got it riding just the way I like it.

don't misunderstand the wilson I'm mid perch and don't think it's a problem just an excuse for not fixing if you find a bad dealership...

Exactly! Has to do with the Torsen.

AWESOME! I'm jealous that your having luck. How often are you off roading in 4 wheel drive? Have you ever been stuck?
