Interesting

I had not heard of PedalMax until today. But it has failures?

Lesse, which is better?

"every one we had to refund"... seems to answer that question

So we just learned earlier from a vendor that every PedalMax they sold they had to refund. Seems there are issues.

Yes. We also sell JMS but every one of those we sold we had to refund our customers. JMS was aware of the issues and was cool about accepting the returns.

I imagine that Cory (aka Gilligan) might of had a defective unit on his as I have had mine for over a year and have never had an issue. But if Cory was so concerned with safety of others, then why did he put it for sale on FRF and sell it to endanger someone else's life if what he says is true?

**** off ya *************. I warned ALL potential buyers along with the actual buyer of my issues

Why is he a POS?

He sells BOTH. No vested interest in either except to sell them all.

One has every one refunded other does not... isnt that good info for consumers?

I just want to highlight @Gilligan experience.

This is serious shit. As much as i enjoy the shit talking people need to know this has happened. I apologized to him, when someone feels their family is at risk they have every right to be concerned.

"Mine started to cause the truck to rev up to like 3k when stopped/stopping. The final time it happened I was at a complete stop with brakes fully applied when it surged forward about the length of a parking spot. I took it off immediately after that final surge and haven’t had the problem since.

Thank god I was pulling into a space without a car in front because I would have smashed it. And if it happened where I park at work my truck would have gone down a 50ft cliff. People will shrug it off but it was scary stuff, especially because my pregnant fiancé was in the car when it happened.

After talking to a member here with a ton of knowledge on the subject I’m pretty convinced these things are untested and very unsafe. Pedal Commander has been asked for proof of testing several times but was never able or willing to provide it and all the ‘OMG its so awesome’ comments buried those conversations."

My comment had nothing to do with sales of the pedal max, I alluded that it may be a better option if they are willing to provide testing but I had never even heard of them until today so I have no dog in that fight. It was about his **** head comment trying to say I don't actually care about anyones safety because I intentionally put people at risk to make a buck, which I did not do.

Best part is that came from the person doing the EXACT thing he accused me of!

More like the petty ******** is strong. Personally calling someone out like that under his vendor username is classy as ****.

Gilligan was up front with why he was selling the PC. Nobody got tricked or hoodwinked.

I'm honestly not inclined to even believe his claims of near universal JMS product returns after his shit slinging.

You know what though? Here's the bottom line to me as far as JMS vs PC goes. Pedal commander and their rep Jax have failed to speak to their testing of their product besides providing a meaningless CE cert that isn't even in english. JMS was more than happy to discuss their testing procedures, as well as compare and contrast the PC with their product both in construction and operation.

Also, quoted for posterity

why cant we just go back to the good ole days where you use your ******* foot to accelerate.

Nah bruh, I've already bypassed my throttle and just installed an on/off toggle switch on top of my shifter. Now when I switch it on, I've got full throttle instantly and off cuts it to idle. It's the best! My 0-60 times are unheard of!
