Hi all,

My passenger seat heater won't turn on at all. The light turns on when I press the button but turns off right away (1/2 second). Checked the fuses and connections best I could.

Read it could be the element needs replacing. Is this true? Is it just the seat part or the back part too??

Thanks

Do you know what needed to be replaced? Just the seat element or the back element too? Or more?

It was the hear element that went out. I did not replace it myself because it was under warranty. However i added heated seats to my FJ it really was not to hard. I pulled the seat and brought it in the house pull the covet back and added the new heat elements.

What year is your truck? If it's a little older I'd definitely do both. I've found from experience that it's better to just replace elements if you find out for sure it's that. If one goes the other isn't usually far behind. I'm not sure about the elements for a Raptor but on other vehicles I've had I found you save some money when you buy them as a pair.
