I went with the manga flow side exit. Step on it and it has a healthy roar. There is a slight rumble at idle and cruise. I like it.

No, not at all. I would have the shop tack weld the clamps, but your catback is a full length kit so you will be fine. IMHO, the only reason their lightning kits have issues is because of only having the one hanger, if they designed them so that the part of that hanger went all the way around the piping instead of only being welded in about a four inch or so section, that would not be an issue with the lightning kits.

I will give Chris a huge recommendation here, but I can not give the SW Lightning Exhaust one, if you go offroad...SW offers better options, which I am sure Chris can get good pricing on as well....

ASo @ Havoc and TRR my exhaust kept getting turned down, which required getting under the truck after each run, rotating, retighting....repeat. So what is happening is that as a result of only one hanger, the tips are bouncing up and hitting the frame, however the exhaust does stop twisting, but the tips do....do that repeatedly it will turn down till the tips stop bouncing.

There are two fixes for this, that I have found:

- Add a second hanger towards the rear, like suggested in the thread, which keeps it from bouncing

or

- Place spot welds at all connection points, ie where it can twist on you. This is what I did @ havoc, and found zero issues with the exhaust moving. However, you will find that it bounces off the frame, rather loudly when hitting bumps.

But if the biggest bump you plan on hitting is a curb at the mall, then scratch what I said above...and the lightning exhaust is the way to go....

Chris has the best price and his service is outstanding as well....

Just like a limp ****.... "Can't be beat"

How can I pass down a complement like that! Chris you should hear from me the middle of December or earlier. Now about that other problem.........my suggestion is Vigra and the latest edition of Hustler.
