Uca looks like the one on the FMI (Gregg Foutz) Sanderson Ford truck at S.E.M.A ?

---------- Post added at 03:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:40 PM ----------

I have not had the chance to meet SODRTY but I know some about him, I believe what he posts.

I love the RPG= blah blah blah
You are so right, even I was fooled. Too many drinking the RPG cool aid here to realize the truth.

So RPG where were the front axles at S.E.M.A. ? On the Spectacular Chris
Ross Build ? Oh they didn't come in yet.............Uh huh.
I crawled all under that truck while on the phone with Corey while at S.E.M.A. also have pics

I have driven the Outlaw Raptor long travel kit, on and off road.
It works.
It HAS been tested.
It HAS BEEN PROVEN TO WITHSATND THE TESTING OF SPRSNK
I drove the Outlaw Raptor long travel kit on highway from Barstow, Ca to San Ana, Ca and then from Santa ana, Ca to Las Vegas, Nv all on Highway.
Drives like a dream
And Yes Outlaws Long travel has been tested for a year on ? 2 or more trucks

And another thing Jarret from RPG STOP YOUR SLANDEROUS LIES ABOUT CONNER, RAPTOR EXPEDITIONS, AND OUTLAW OFF ROAD !

Big Scott :boxing:

Wow Big Scott, Get it out.

Hey guys, All of these companies have come to market with ******* awesome products. They are all a little different from each other, but all insane.

My truck still does not have the axles in it, but they are going in this week. I pray that it performs as well as we expect, but I know one thing for sure. We have some serious talent helping to make sure it performs.

Anyway, I want you all to understand that it is my opinion that each and every LT kit I have seen by all of you guys are SICK. As a matter of fact, I am guessing they are all more capable than most of us are at pushing them to there limits.

We will be out testing and tuning with Fox next week, and at that time we will be able to bring lots of great pictures, video, and results to all of you. Again, I am keeping my finger crossed that it lives up to my expectations.

Anybody looking to spend the kind of time and money to bring there truck to this level of performance should definitely look at all the options. There is soooo much to consider, and soooo many talent companies producing insane products for our trucks. I went the way I did for my own reasons. As I am sure you have already noticed, I am not afraid to spend money, or to change my mind and start over.

I considered all the above and put my faith in RPG for this build. Time will tell if that was a good decision. What I can say for sure that I can not say enough good things about the quality of the build that was performed by RPG. They made sure that every single aspect of my truck was as clean as I have ever seen anywhere.

I don't know why I have gone on so long, but I guess it is because the topic seems to be going down a real negative path.

My truck has not spent 5 seconds in the dirt yet with the new suspension from RPG. Extensive testing will be done, and I assure I will bring you the results. If I don't like some of them, the time and money WILL be spent to make it unbelievable.

Good luck in picking the best solution and product. I love this shit.

Chris

We went to Foutz in 2010 to help us design our LT in CAD since we were planning on offering this as a kit and not just a one off piece. Not sure if the kit he used on that truck is the same or very similar.

I thought as long as I was chiming in on this, I would also speak about why I chose to allow RPG to use my truck as the guinea pig for this suspension.

I assure you that it had nothing to do with the ruts that trophy truck leave in the desert. While this makes a little sense, it also is a statement that is so easy to tear apart.

I decided to go down this route for one reason only. I love the idea of lots of travel, but I DESPISE the look of all the trucks that the wheels stick so far out from the side of the truck. Or that that have unnatural looking fender flares to cover the wheels.

I love that we have kept the truck clean looking, been successful in running 39's, and we shall se where the number come out on travel. My guess is that if we use this new term of "Fully usable travel" it will be closer to 18" than 19". Maybe even 17.5. Who Knows. Hard bump to Hard bump it is over 19.

Again the truck has not been off-road yet so I can not boast of how insane it performs, and I am 100% sure that it will require some tweaking to make it live up to my expectations.

I am however certain that it lives up to my expectations of how I wanted my truck to look. And anybody who has seen the truck in person, i am sure they will agree, it looks SICK. Now it is just about time to make sure it performs the same.

Not really a new term... As I "hinted" in my post above, there are many different ways people measure travel. I feel that when you advertise travel #'s you should be speaking in terms of "real" or "usable" travel. Would my kit sound better if we decided to claim 18" or 19" of travel? Yup and I could if I didn't measure usable travel.. But who would that help? It wouldn't help the end user... Ford could have done the same thing... They advertise 11.1" of travel because that is what the front suspension does.. They could have easily added 2" to that number if they didn't measure the "real" or "usable" travel numbers.. How pissed would consumers be if they took their Raptor to a shop that knew how to measure wheel travel and found out they weren't getting the 13" that they thought?

If you say that it has 17.5" of travel but at hard bump it have over 19" of travel, that doesn't jive either.

I am not attempting to start another shit storm with you, just pointing out some things. The big thing, like I said about your first build, is that you are happy with your truck.

OK before I was trying to be nice and political. Now I just say, whatever.

I hope everyone enjoys whatever they decide to do.

I'm outta here.

LOL.. Damm me for trying to help make sense of things!

I'm pretty sure that I brought up a few different things that could make for some interesting discussion. For those that feel like it was me starting shit so be it.. For others, there is plenty to discuss.

Yes there is, and Raptor owners and vendor potential customers should be asking questions and discussions..

-Greg

Does this mean a vendor shouldn't be a part of the discussion?
