Ordered two Raptors and.....

So you are thinking if you do get the email from ford (I did), that I am guaranteed to get a truck? The one thing I’ve always been nervous about is the allocation thing and dealers telling people they’ll have one.

No guarantee of allocation unfortunately. Just means you’re in the system

If you received a confirmation of your order from Ford, that means the dealer ordered the truck as a sold unit in your name. Ford will not allow the dealer to accept a sold order (this means you signed a buyers order with the dealer and a deposit) without an allocation to your dealer. What might be holding your order up is the equipment. My notification that my truck was going to be built specified they had all of the parts to proceed to production.

In early November after a ton of research on this forum, I ordered a Raptor at two different stealerships here in Texas. I ordered a lowly 800a with no bedliner and auto stop/start delete. I was sure to ask the dealers if they had an allocation, and both checked and got back with me in a day or so and said they did. Here I am in January, and have never even got an email from ford. No thanks for the order, no Vin, nothing. Have been in contact with the dealers and they have nothing for me. This system is complete insanity considering Fords size and brand. Anyone in a similar spow

Congrats on your order. I know there are quite a few of us still waiting on build dates for Raptors ordered in June or around there. All I can say is, welcome to the waiting game now.

Buying my raptor (here in SA) was easily the single worst vehicle buying experience ever. I know doesn't help your cause...but good luck.

I'll find out Monday if I even have an order. I'm cool with waiting and understand the current supply chain issues. My concern is I have not received an email for either order from ford and its been a couple of months. It's not bad having to wait, whats bad is waiting months to find out your dealer lied and that you don't have a real order.

Sorry to hear you situation. I paid $500 deposit to my dealer for a 2022 35 801a on January 3rd and on the same I received an order number from my dealer and a Ford confirmation email. So chances are your dealer has not submitted your order but I honestly don’t understand this game that we are all playing with dealers and Ford. It is definitely confusing and frustrating.

If you have the sales code and order number, you can check with Ford Performance if your order was submitted. Or your dealer was lazy and did not submit your email when placing the order.
