Lol. All good. The hunt doesn’t really apply to me. Usually always have an option to pick one up from my dealer. They did not have an allocation left when I ordered my 21. Quick call to the zone rep got them another allocation for me. Pays to have a good relationship with an honest dealer.
Now the Bronco on order for my kid, another story. That process due to Ford is ridiculous. Dealer has been great.

You guys just need to sit back and let the process happen. I will either get one now of in a few months. Just go about your life’s and one day it will be here. Getting all worked up is just a bunch of unnecessary stress in Your life. EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE. Heck I can’t even get a base Porsche 911 right now. Just consider your self luck to be IN the line to get such a amazing truck.

ive actually ordered 3 obviously none as of yet have allocations. two dealers wanted a 500 refundable deposit my regular dealer did not. my regular is msrp. so is another dealer in the middle of nowhere the other is 5k above msrp. we shall see which one goes first. sit back and enjoy the 2018 I have. until it finally comes. only on yr 4 of ownership so still 2 yrs of depreciation and only 36k miles. no need to get worked up for me anyway.

This whole situation sucks for those who needed a vehicle by the end of last year to right it off and figured 6 months was enough time to get what they wanted instead of selling just to get the right off. sucks indeed

You should keep in mind that all manufacturers are suffering from parts/chip shortages which is severely impacting their ability to build cars. That’s why all the dealer lots are practically empty. I hope you hear something soon.

I have a deposit on an incoming 21, and placed 2 orders on 22’s with separate dealerships. Only one of the 2 dealerships actually got me a VIN and build date. The system is trash and allows dealerships to manipulate both Ford and the customer. I did all this just to increase my chances of actually getting one at the agreed upon price and to have some leverage in the likely event that one of the many variables derails the deal.

My experience has been pretty smooth. I placed my order at the dealer on 11/23 for a 22 model, received a confirmation email of my order from Ford on 11/24. On 12/16 I got my VIN and a build week of 2/7. I checked with the dealer yesterday just to see if there was any changes and he went in the system and actually gave me a build start day of 2/10. My Raptor is equipped with the 801A, Moonroof/Power Tailgate Pkg, Sprayed in Bedliner, Auto Start/Stop delete.
I would suspect your dealers do not have an allocation to sell you and they might not be totally truthful. As I understand the Ford process, that if the dealer has the allocation, the order is submitted as a sold unit with your name and is given a build priority over non-sold allocations.

mine were truthful. they said they had no allocations. thats why I put 3 different orders in.
