does the 93 around you have ethanol? premium here does not, thus, better mileage.
lower octane gas pretty much everywhere does have ethanol, and ethanol kills mileage.

that could be another reason.

I believe its 10% Ethanol

Five stiches, from the skid plate? By mixing oil and blood, you just created an unbreakable bond with your Raptor. Christine II?

gas mileage thread. and you get way better mpg with e-30 I got 16.4 going out to the hill's and on the way home using 91 got 14mpg. If you put 10% in crap gas you get 87 if you put 10% in good gas you get 93 guess what will run better.

I'll explain. I went and bought all the the things I needed to do the oil change. I get home and position the truck on the flattest surface on my driveway. I go underneath with my tools and remove both skid plates. I then locate the drain plug and the oil comes out and some of it spills on the carboard I had layed out and also on my driveway. Once I cleaned as much as I could and replaced the plug, I then did the filter and poured in the new oil. All I have left to do was put the skid plates back on. I moved my truck alittle closer to my house as I didnt want to get the spilled oil on me while on my back ******** in the plates. Well, I finished the skid plates and was happy that I had accomplished my first oil change and sprang up from the front of the truck and didnt realize that, 1) I was parked alittle too close to the house, and 2) The crank out windows were open and they have VERY pointy edges. Yep, I hit the edges of the window really, really hard. I came up feeling a massive headache and blood was pouring all over. I has a 3" cut on the top/back part of my head. And a 3" cut on the front-side too. The one on the rear needed stitches. I went to the emergency room within 10 min. of this happening and got stitched up. First time in my life I needed stitches. Oh well, it was for a good cause.:headbang:
