OK got back from the SDBR on the way out using e-30 16.4 on the way out had just under quarter tank left filled at Mobil in deadwood with 91 octane. I immediately IMO noticed power loss I know I know. figured was going up a lot steeper hills so that was the reason. on the way home filled at the same gas station forgot to hit the reset button until I was threw deadwood going down a hill. getting 32.5 mpg thinking crap the 91 octane is going to kick e-30 butt. by the time I got home it was 14.5 I don't get it?

She managed do migrate upto 14.2mpg avg. for the last two tanks.. nothing really changed. Same short commute to work, same shorter commute to the gym after work, same gas / station.

This tank I'm running 93 oct as I will be towing the GT to the Carlisle All Ford Nationals next week. It'll be interesting to see what she does both before the tow and during.

I accidentally hit the trip re set!!! but I looked at it just before my mistake and I had driven 11,200 miles and averaged 11.8.
I have seen an improvement from 11.2 in town/little highway on my commute to 12.5 once the truck hit 6000 miles????
I have seen better fuel mileage with 93 octane to the tune of .5 MPG,The fuel mileage is not that bad compared to my 11 Eco boost that averaged 14.2 city /highway and only 19 MPG on road with factory 20 in tires.

This past weekend I moved my Mother from Assisted Living place in Bryon GA to Milton FL, and due to rolling hills i used the tow/haul mode more then usual, but I was actually impressed with it, sinces now it no longer locks you out of overdrive. I only got 10.1 mpg but I was hauling around 4K lbs, & doing around 78 mph the majority of the time & wasing doing 85 mph to flow with the traffic coming back up I65 on Monday. Alabama is known for slamming it down or get the F out of my.

Drove about 130 miles avg. 13.1 mpg with the AC and seats going.. 93F out. Picked up an empty car trailer (2,200 lbs) and towed it home 130 miles... got 13.8 mpg. Was doing roughly the same speed both ways..

I'm a total newb to this stuff, but aren't there "programmers" out there that will help increase gas mileage?
