Mine does a weird lag thing warmonger 4th to 5th if the trans is cold and I have light throttle input.

Other than that I love it, smooth. Cruise at 65 and put the hammer down it smoothly drops into 6th gear and does it’s thing.

I loved that tranny until i 3 of them broke on me within 2000 miles. Shifting into 1st on the highway at 70mph on its own, slipping out of 6th, not catching at all, and oil everywhere! All that on stick tune, new 19. My 17 was great. No issues with 27k. That said, i can never trust it after my experiences and the dealer swapping new transmissions in and the same thing happening within a few hundred miles.

Mine does this too when cold. Otherwise no complaints.

I would be very suspect of the dealer putting the replacements in.

This tranny is the best traditional torque converter auto in a production vehicle I’ve ever experienced, personally.

and yeah- def need to let it warm up before it operates @ full potential- same can be said for the engine, maybe even more so...maybe if more owners have these things a 5, maybe 10 min warm up (in cold months) you’d avoid some problems, cam phasers maybe?
