I am from the same area and like you I did a lot of searching with little luck. I was close to placing in order when I found my current Raptor @ Mac Haik Ford in Desoto. Called them up to negotiate and drove out that night to purchase.

That was the only Raptor, on lot, I could find in a 200 mile radius. There was one in Austin and one in Carrollton. The one in Carrollton was "sold" the day I went in to see it, not positive the guy ever had one. I'd give Mac Haik a call and see if they can help, ask to speak with Andy - good luck

I have already made my mod list! I think I am at least as excited for the mods as the truck.

I have even already talked to Texas Motor Werx.

I have been talking with Mac Haik in Desoto today. They seem to be right at MSRP. I am hoping to get around $500 over or less if I can. I don't mind driving to get it. I appreciate the info though. I feel like it's just me against the dealers right now and I have to keep reminding myself it can be done and Edmunds doesn't lie.

---- They are playing hard ball with you just like they tried to do with me, don't let them bully you. I told them I would come up with a cashiers check that night if they would seriously consider coming down. They came down a little and I said no. They came down some more and said no. Finally they came down to 51 from 56.5 and I accepted. Just act like this is your toy car and you aren't in a rush to purchase anything, fine with waiting. Even though you aren't. That strategy seemed get their blood moving and things progressed faster than I thought. Again, good luck.
