I used a long exacto knives to cut a hole above the nut. And used a an adjustable angle wrench to get to the bolt easier.1000063960.jpg1000063961.jpg

Going to try to get the truck alignment done tomorrow and see how it drives. Right now there is definitely a difference. , but it's a very subtle difference.

Not in any negative Way. Now the wait for these 35s to wear out so I can get the 37s.

Depending on how much you want to play around with things, throwing a 2” spring spacer on with the stock springs could be worth trying. The rear would ride equivalent to a 1” spacer if everything else was stock. With 150 lbs extra in the bed, that might get you about in the same spot but ride smoother.

After the alignment, and finding out that I forgot to tighten the steering rod end Bolt tight enough. Truck drives amazing. There's a slight bit of stiffer feel. Barely noticeable. And honestly I think the truck drives better
Overall I love the way the truck drives now and the way it stands. Carried about 500 lb worth of tools today in the back and considerably less squatting than stock springs.

Highly recommend this setup. I will try the collars and stock springs in the back later, but as of right now I'll probably drive around this way for the next 10,000 miles.

Super Glad I came across this thread! Just picked up a peasant edition 25' 801A and I'm pumped to be back in the Raptor gang

Thanks for all the hard work, @taquitos! I know exactly where I'm spending my next little bit of play money!

Love the tech stuff. So far I am loving the new ride height and the ride quality with your suspension components. Nothing but positive to say about them.

Thanks, good to hear everything is working well! I definitely very appreciative of everyone who has been willing to install the parts since I’m a new face in the Raptor world. It’s kind of a funny experience because about six years ago I founded a brand that makes aftermarket suspension products in a different industry that has some amount of sway now. So it kind of feels like going back to square one in some ways. Not necessarily a bad thing because at times I missed those days of a smaller operation.

Just pulled the trigger! After a few years away from the Raptor scene, I’m back in a Gen 3—and loving every second of it. I went with the 801A (yeah, I know... PEASANT), fully planning to jump to 37s anyway. Why? Because I can’t stand the look and offset on the stock wheels on the 37” package, and I really can’t stand BFG KO2s.

Im lucky to have found this absolute game-changer of a product: a 37” conversion kit that keeps the same suspension travel as the 35” setup while giving you more travel than the factory 37” package. Bigger tires, and no compromises. That alone made my decision to go 801A a total win.

As a CAD designer, machinist, and 3D print nerd, I seriously appreciate when someone puts real engineering and craftsmanship into a product like this. Normally, my OCD would be in overdrive with mods like this—but this kit? It just feels right. It’s not cheap, but there’s a reason for that. You’re not buying some mass-produced junk. You’re supporting a real-deal creator who even offers a super helpful Facebook chat.
