None - Still at the dealer.

They fixed one of the oil leaks, there were two and now tracing the reason why its overheating all the time. They replaced thermo again because sometimes they come from the factory ******.

So the oil leaks were fixed.

The engine keeps over heating, even after a new thermostat. Fan stays on a lot, like before. I am trying to help the mechanic out here.

Only thing I can think of, water pump, head gasket coolant sensors?

Maybe not head gasket, because of newly rebuilt engine, why wasn't the ******* head gasket done?

Its at a Ford dealer right?
Have you ran the heater with it running? Does it get hot? Wondering if somehow you have trapped air.
What temp thermostat are they putting in? I believe stock is 195 and truck will run upwards of 210- 220 at times.

Alright folks....

Both oil leaks taken care of. And the overheating was more of the lines of, not cooling off vs over heating. Four thermostats later and the radiator being clogged, and new temp sensors all the way around, shes fixed.

Long story short: If you have a coolant issue:

  • Coolant level check
  • Thermostat next
  • Temp sensors after that
  • Clogged Radiator check
  • Finally, water pump check
Luckily mine was fixed before the last.
