Haha, well as long you're not secretly a terrorist I'd bet on it being another typical dealer scam.
I'm the black sheep of the family.
Both brothers are police officers. My only nephew is a police officer.

My guess would be the dealership (Lo Jack or similar is regularly added as a "dealer installed option") or the lender for the note on the truck. If you didn't finance, then I'd imagine it's the dealer gimmick.

I only see that with lots for Buy Here, Pay Here. So they can disable the vehicle and pick it up on a repo.

What kind of financing did you do?
I'm thinking the same thing. Its for Repo locate of your truck. Unless they told you about it and charged you for it.

One of the Ford Dealers here puts LoJack on every car and charges $900 for it with Lifetime Subscription free.
