Narrowing it down!.. help!

Well Im new to the boards, but Ive lurked around for a couple weeks reading all the good info you guys bring up.. Ive been looking around for a raptor for a couple months and feel like the time is really getting closer.. Theres 2 raptors that I'm kind of split up by/going to check out:

1: 2013 supercab in Black. CPO. with 9k miles. All Stock 801A luxury package. kind of close to me dealer is asking $47,999

2:2013 supercab in White. from a independent dealer. Roush edition with 13K miles. different running boards, pretty much stock. dealer asking 56k. thats all the info i have.

Anyways I don't really know the pros and cons value vs in a roush, or in buying certified pre owned or a independent dealer.. any comments or input would help thanks in advance!

They are supercharged and have additional goodies, plus there's the rarity of it being a "special" edition.

I'd buy the black one and spend the rest on suspension mods.

Edit: the price on the black one is pretty good. I'd go buy that now if I were you.

I agree the price on the black one with only 9k miles is a pretty good price. I would jump on that before it goes. I Have a black 2013 I bought a few months ago with 11k miles and I paid more than that. I also have a 2014 black Roush Edition that I bought brand new which I love but if I had it to do over I probably woul have picked up a stock one and had the SC installed on my own. Good luck with the decision and I wouldn't wait too long if I was you.

yea thanks for the input, the roush is in a neighboring state.. so i would have to fly out there.. plus the black one is cheaper and is Certified preowned.. so that kind of leans me towards that one

Is that a phase 1 or phase 2 Roush? Ones got 525hp and the other 590hp.

The black 'regular' SCAB sounds decent from what you say. Hard to find them for less than what people actually paid for them.

My local dealer has a CPO roush stage 2 black SCrew for $70,000

56 doesn't seem to bad.

Thanks for all the input guys... I contacted both dealers and pulled the trigger on the black scab.. the dealer just worked more for me and even gave me a little better deal.. plus it's close to my home and didn't really feel like flying out to Texas. .. thanks!
