Yeah you don't want to join me in the special window edition club
New set of pistons and rods. Arp bolts, new timing components. Melling oil pump . New valve springs, cam followers, lash adjusters . I would do New valves also . If you think how many times that rotating assembly has cycled up and down in 250k miles. You would be golden for another 250 . Transmission and rear axle can be rebuilt fairly easily if they take a dump . But windowing a engine block . Your SOL

BUY IT. Great Reliable Truck. And just 15k, you can have plenty of money lf you can and do plenty of Mods and have a Great Weekend toy. If not already done, you'll want to look into a Molded Lead Frame replacement. Mine crapped out at 190k miles Around 1200 bucks if you have Dealership do it. Replacing thecpart is not hard but to do a thorough tranny flush including the lines can be tricky thats why I had my Trusted Dealership do it.
