Mystery oil?

Decided to randomly pop my hood when I was getting gas and discovered some kind of oil all over the engine bay. No idea where it came from and can’t tell if it’s engine oil or not. I did get a service at a dealer about 300 miles ago, not sure if that has anything to do with it. Can anyone maybe give me an idea of what this oil could be? Also there’s a distinct line across the oil filter, imagine that’s from the oil filter tool.

Just a guess… but it looks like tech may have spilled oil on a pulley or belt. Oil was cast off as engine ran, throwing oil throughout the compartment.

Seems plausible but I feel like it’s a lot of oil for a spillage

Maybe the tech had the jug on the air box and spilled it. Who knows what goes on at the stealership.

Smell it.

Have had similar on my Gen 1 after service. I believe they either got oil on the fan or belt or pulleys somehow and I drove it that way spraying oil around the engine bay. Checked fluid levels all was good.
