My truck is dead

i 2nd on that smoke test, a vacuum leak may have develop with one of those backfires and may be adding drama to the main issue.

Here is a minor misfiring from this morning.. The jumping around of the video after I start the truck is the engine misfiring and shaking whole truck.

I would say with this proof it's in fords hands now. You have proved there is a problem. Good video
On another note my BMW e 46 did pretty much the same thing recently. No check engine lite. Miss at cold start. Smoothed out in closed loop. Smelled of coolant. Was a cracked head.

Yep.. I am sending emails to Thoroughbred ford service manager, general manager, ford customer relations, and every email address i can find.. I will NOT pay $28 a day for a rental while they keep my truck. And i will continue up the food chain till it gets resolved.

I guess what really set me off is the dealership called saying ford is sending a survey. And wanted to make sure I was satisfied. Told they lady I was not and still have issues with my vehicle. And she said im sorry to hear that..

That's exactly what you have to do. Climb the food chain. I had to do that when the pos dealer here screwed me on my order. Ended up with the south eastern U.S. sales manager. She had my truck built in 4 weeks. After I waited 4 months. Just saying you gotta raise hell.

I don't know if mine has ever done that. The only time I let it run more than 5 seconds is if I remote start it. Usually its turn the key, Stuff it in gear, flip out the mirrors and go. HAhahaa. Good luck. Keep us in the loop.
