I think I will wait, any idea how long it will be for Ford to fix this?

I picked up my truck from the dealer that said he could not fix it. He fixed the logo by putting it back to the old version of the software. The sad part is they didn't even realize they had the logo back. Might wait until a new version is released that leaves the animation alone. I'll live with the old version for a while.

I have an appointment to take my Raptor in tomorrow morning to have the 3rd brake light checked out and the splash screen fixed. I'm not real confident though, the service writer said that she had never seen a Raptor 3rd brake light go bad. I knew I should have gone to a different dealership but I wanted to give the local ford dealer a shot at fixing it first, so wish me luck.

I can't commit to a specific release day, RDFTS, but it will be available for download on the website:

Took my truck in this morning, waited two hours for them to tell me they had to order a third brake light, something I asked them to do when I scheduled the appointment. Oh and they told me that they could not figure out how to fix the splash screen, blamed it on the ford web site being to busy and did not give the check box for the Raptor splash screen. Lame

Did you take it to Joe Cooper? I didn't wait on mine. Took the free shuttle home but they had it done by about 2.

No I went to the ford dealer here in Norman this time but I will go to Joe Cooper if I need anything in the future.

This is not a new issue

Hi everyone, in anticipation of finding out if the update can be accomplished without losing the Raptor "splash;" I've been watching this thread since it started.

Today I received a letter from Ford, describing "Customer Satisfaction Program 12M02" which notified me of a two year, unlimited mileage, warranty extension for the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM), the key component of the vehicle's SYNC system. So I did a search to see if anyone else had posted anything on Program 12M02 and I found this thread, http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f162/ford-customer-satisfaction-program-12m02-20601/ which not only speaks of Program 12M02, but also of the loss of the Raptor splash as far back as 01/28/2013.

For what it's worth, my Raptor is a 2014, built in July, 2014. One would think that by now this would simply be included in the new vehicle warranty, and there wouldn't be any Raptor splash issues.

I hope this helps in some way, but since the loss of the Raptor splash has been going on for around two years, I'm not so sure there will be any quick fix except to either return to a previous version or avoid any updates.

It looks like my local dealer backed my system back to the 3.6.2 version. The ford sync site thinks the truck is at 3.7. I have an appointment with another dealer today so I was going to re-install 3.7 so they could fix the screen the correct way, but it will not allow me to to apply the update. The truck also thinks the upgrade has been applied so it will not update to 3.7. It clearly states that it has 3.6.2 installed. I even downloaded a new file and put it on a clean USB stick. You kind of have to trick the support site to let you download the file again because it thinks I have already applied the update.

So now basically, things are screwed. I'm going to go ahead and go to the dealer today and see if they can update to the 3.7, but from what others say, they will not do that. So I am probably stuck with 3.6.2 for a while.

Maybe it's just me, but the 3.7 version seemed to be much snappier.
