You old school guys are so funny. The bolt ons do add something and you show your ignorance when saying they don't. To what degree is arguable, but there are significant gains when it is all added up. This thread may never actually die.

How about you find some actual real proof about your fairy tales , some someone other than the guy trying to sell you it.

Not trying to add fuel to this fire but I have a friend that owns a shop with dyno. They did some work for a shop that was "testing" their product and wanted to show the "gains" it produced. It actually lost a little power over stock. They asked my buddy to manipulate the dyno tests so it showed gains.

So as far as I'm concerned unless I see tests from a consumer after they bought and installed the product. I won't believe manufacturers claims.

1roadking, just as Gsteve said that's where the gains are most noticeable. Just as you mentioned the truck stock feels sluggish on light acceleration. The MPT tune I believe adjusts the pedal sensitivity so you get much quicker response on tip in. I'm very happy with the way my tune works.

I've run the 93PRX, 91 ORX and the 91 tow tune. Personally SOTP feeling between the 3 isn't a lot different.

I agree, there is so much bs out there. You have to look at shops that are testing for customers. BCB did a test on a cai and on the best run it made 1 hp.
On my mpt tune I asked for zero pedal juicing. Not sure if that’s what I got or not.

We are talking about cumulative gains and have gone through this already. No one is selling anyone anything. My mech works on cars all day every day. He has 30 years in the business. Street and race cars. He did all the work on my 13. Sc, exhaust, headers, etc. My current 13 gets 560rwhp, verified by dyno results. We did the whole deal on the 18(adapters, Cai, tune(MPT 93prx), downpipe, exhaust, intercooler upgrade). He said the gains will be not be as dramatic as the sc obviously on the 13, but it all adds up. Especially in Houston where it is hot as balls all the time. Look i have agreed on here the tune is the biggest improvement, but you cannot tell me that the other stuff doesnt improve the driveability and the hp for the truck. I drove it with the tune only for 2 weeks, then did all the rest. There is a noticeable difference. I did not dyno either one, but wish i would have. These add ons were a total of 4300k roughly, but the truck is completely different in it's behavior, sound, and performance. we can debate all day if you want to, but when you guys get on here and give false info it just confuses people. Just say the gains are negligible, marginal, or hard to determine. That at least sounds reasonable.

You're absolutely correct and I won't "tell" you anything. I'll show you with tangible results, not mouth air. You spent a LOT of money on stuff and the truck sounds different and drives different. That's not unusual to **** away 4500 bucks and claim better "performance". That's why marketers do that shit. Please note that YOU are the person giving false hot air info. I post REAL performance data and you spout hot air that your truck inhales for "more power".

Note that I can adjust your "tune" to feel anything you want. I can make you FEEL more power when the vehicle is actually making less power. I can make it sound "better" and hurt acceleration. You depend (and spend) WAY to much on the word of others. You should invest that cash in some in-depth tuning knowledge from a reputable educational source (not your buddy who builds race cars for money) and then report back.
