the tune is the only thing you will actually feel. All this other stuff is fluff , do it if you want but you wont be able to measure the gain with a stop watch or dyno. You will be told , spools faster , quicker response , crisper..... its mainly imagination and placebo. No shop has shown that a cai does anything. Hell even a tune , which tests out at a huge gain doesn't alter the personality of the truck that dramatically. Bolt on fluff is for fun only.

setxws6,

There are a lot of opinions on aftermarket parts like exhuast, CAI, adapters, etc. Fordza thinks the tune is the only advantage. It is the most significant, but do not let one guys opinion sway you. There are a lot of us on here that know there are gains to be had from add ons. Do the research yourself, try some stuff, and make your own opinion. I have 2 raptors, heavily modded and can tell you there are gains and improvements to be had with these additions.

Post something (numbers?) objective and not FEEL. And NOT the sellers advertising. Let's see your own data. I opine that there is nothing more than your perceptions, which are NOT objective.

Also know that I HAVE made many of the "in question" mods simply due to the "perceived" physics of the associated change. HOWEVER, more often than not, the perceived physics is simply that, "perceived" and not truly applicable IN THE SUBJECT modification. Just because a modification is supposed to allow more air, or more flow, or more anything doesn't mean that there WILL be more of whatever.

Too many people are still old school in their thinking or otherwise gullible to advertising claims that do NOT apply to late model turbocharged or supercharged engines. Air filters/intakes and motor oils are the WORST offenders as they have nothing else to provide for you to base your their decision to buy their product vs a competitor or even OEM. It remains a fact that a person can be smart, but PEOPLE are stupid.

The turbocharger itself is the ONLY source and provider of intake air. Physics are still "laws" at present until we discover different...

Last question on MPT tune. Does it give more low end power IE under 2000 RPM for lugging up hills and not having to shift constantly at say 55MPH. I feel like even stock the motor feels good when you get into it but a little doggy when your just cruising and not laying into it. I guess my question is does it fell more tourquey like a V8 at the lazier RPMS.

That’s where I feel the most gain.

Where to you go to makeup your BS? Garrett just came out with an OE replacement IC that they are saying dyno's +16HP. I would venture to say the FMIC like full race would yield even better results. But of course, I'm sure Garrett is lying

16 whole hp !!! Omg let me get my cheque book out !!! That’s about like having a half a tank of fuel compared to a full one. Let me guess, garret provided that dyno sheet anddddd they sell them too lol. I’m done skippy , you go buy all your goodies and tell every one that it feels like about 75-100 hp. Dont dyno it tho cuz you’ll be bawling like a kid who dropped his ice cream

No one said it was a ton - but pair that with a free flowing down pipe and you are probably looking at ~35HP or so. Nothing will give gains like the tune or new turbos as stated, but supporting mods absolutely help. Now we can argue cost per HP but that is a different topic really.
