What are folks view of the moon roofs in these bad boys?

Would i have to worry about leaks/squeaks/creaking like some other cars?

Is it worth the cost resale wise (paying invoice price)

We have had two cars with moon roofs in the past. Honestly I can count the number of times I actually opened the thing. Even when it was close we never opened the shade part due to the heat. Also I never liked the thought of a hole in the roof, just another thing to possibly leak. I would think that the truck would also be stiffer without the hole up there. So I opted not to order one for my truck.

I love mine, use it all the time. Nothing like rolling down the road with all the windoes, sunroof, and rear window open on a nice day. But just flipping the roof up and oepning the rear window brings in a nice flow...i love mine.

Have to agree with Vanilla, Love mine.

I don't use it as often as some but I'm of the mind that it's better to have it and not use it all the time than to want it and not have it.

I love mine as well. Didn't get one in the DD Focus, but that's cuz I just took what they had off the lot. With the rear window slid open and the sunroof popped up, it's an awesome breeze in the cab without the air from the windows being down.

I gotta have one, if not open just for the sun light . I feel closed in when the shade is not open. To me it makes the cab feel bigger. I know this seems stupid , best exsample ; it is like going into a room with high ceilings compared to regular 8 ft ones.

Also being a smoker , you crack the back window and and lift the back of Sun roof up and it does a nice job if cycling fresh air .

To me it is very quiet when closed and even when wide open they do a nice job with the wind deflectore , especialy if you crack the back window..

Ditto. Crack the rear window anywhere from an inch or two to full open and then vent up the moonroof and you've got an AWESOME breeze with very little noise. Slide that sucker all the way open, and it's a nice big opening.

I like it when I'm offroad. Or driving in the mtns at night.

With the black on black interior, the sun can cook the cab if I forget to close the shade though.

I didn't get it after reading complaints of increased wind noise and intermittent leaks (when closed of course).
