Hey Dirt. The silver is great, never shows dirt and is easy to keep up. Ive had it on my last two Fords and ordered it again. My wifes FJ is silver with the white top, the top shows all the speckles and looks like crap from the trees in front of our house and you cant see a thing on the silver part. Just my two cents.

I was thinking silver as well for a while but it just doesnt have the impact i want. I know a bit :supergay: but silver (unless its matte/pearl/something special) just seems "meh" to me.

Yes. There is a drip tray for catching any water that may be laying on top after it rains or what not.
Didn't expect Ford dealer to tell me that its normal to see consistant drips even when it's closed.
What's the point of a seal if it doesn't seal.
Anyways I placed a little bit of vaseline around the edge of the seal and it pretty much stopped it.

Yeah man - I would definately call that one a warranty issue and have another try at your dealer by showing them that video (and letting them know where they can find it on Youtube!). It sounds like your seal was compromised somehow.
And Vaseline - well I'll let someone else have fun with that one as I already posted an **** lube reference last week - is only a temporary fix and will disappear in warmer weather. Being oil based, it could also have negative effects on rubber components.

Being in the 'leak' business I have looked at several friends leaky moonroofs over the years (back when we called them sunroofs). Camaros and Volvos had issues with the drain tubes plugging up after a few years worth of dirt etc. was washed down.

I just checked, and our trucks have two pencil sized holes - one at each corner up front. Try and check if they are plugged - it'd be kinda painful to do with water, so if you have an air compressor with a needle blower that might be easier. Mine looked as clean as the day it was installed - and you know what abuse I've put the truck through!

Still dude - that video shown to the Ford service manager, should get you a new setup.

Back on topic - I love mine for the extra lighting more than the venting part which at times sucks my long hair out the roof.:peace:

OH I showed it to them...lol They still said it was acceptable. The holes are un-plugged, it just bothered me seeing all that water drip onto the drip trays every time it rained.
I still love my sun roof and would definitely get another.
