‘24 Raptors and the CAI Dilemma

Is there a clear front runner for intakes on the gen 3? I typically would have just gone Cobb but I have a 2024 and their scope does not work.

Cobb intake, scoop and coolant cover installed on our 2024. The Cobb intake scoop support bracket does not fit unfortunately.

So is this the Cobb redline carbon fiber series ad ons?
I knew they said the CaI would fit 24 but heard from one of my reps at Hammer Performance that the carbon fiber scoop and other items only fit 23s.

I’d be happy to hear if that’s not true and they can also fit 24s. @OffroadAlliance.com

@Subaruski from All I have seen and read through forums and online. The most reliable and best is the COBB CAI, AFE Carbon fiber is a second close, but I have heard some get “cels” at times when installing those, not so much from the Cobb series. Everything else is just a copy cat or open top and that can over time have negative effects on gas mileage. I got the corsa with their blue performance engineered filter but regret now that I just didn’t get the Cobb.

Correct, this is the Cobb Redline carbon fiber intake, scoop and coolant cover installed on our 2024. We've had this all installed for ~1,000 miles so far and no issues. Again, the part that does not fit the 2024 is the Cobb scoop bracket, specifically the piece pictured here on top. This piece is the lower mount/brace that attaches to the underside of the core support. The top piece with the 'Cobb' logo fits fine. So in theory you could add bolt/nut and still have something stronger than the OEM trim clip, just without Cobb's lower brace.





BuiltRight also did a nice installation video on their new 2024 Raptor installing the same Cobb Redline intake, scoop and Cobb's stock location intercooler. No fitment issues but you can see in their video, they did not install the Cobb scoop bracket either.

Ironically, I saw @BuiltRight ‘s video with their 2024 Raptor and the COBB red line cold air intake and intercooler install. I even sent them a message on the video to get some confirmation around the fitment and install from them, but they never responded.
So this is Super helpful that you all shared all of this!
One follow up question I have…with the one piece of the support bracket you showed not able to be used or installed there on the ‘24, have you noticed any type of impingement between the hood and the scoop opening?
Does it crush down on it at all with the hood closed?
My only fear is that without the support bracket, over time and engine heat it might slowly scrunch down over time limiting intake flow.
Again just a hypothetical question here that I’m hoping you can provide some assurance on That I think would be helpful for me and the other readers of this thread.

Im pretty sure told you on FB messenger that Ive been able to fit the redline scoop on 24 trucks.

That’s right, I recall you mentioning you had the Cobb redline intake on your ‘24 which Cobb confirms fitment for but don’t remember if we discussed their carbon fiber scoop fitting. But correct me if I’m wrong there brother.

The images shared above of both the intake plus the scoop installed on the ‘24 were helpful this way we can see what pieces exactly don’t fit on the 24 even though the scoop itself can actually go in minus that one bracket.

Another gent I spoke to who sells performance parts at another shop had mentioned that the hood on 23 vs 24 were too different and the scoop would be pinched down on when then hood closes so I couldn’t possibly use that cf redline scoop. So that made me hesitate from purchasing that part.
