retighten the lower shock bolts. Spec is 405lbs or close to that. That's where the noise comes from.

That was my first thought as well so I took it back to the shop who did the mid perch to retorque and they said everything was to specs. I'll look to see if I can recheck to make sure it is torqued to proper tightness.

I am getting ready for a huge trip from Missouri to Washington DC, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, New York, and Niagara Falls. I am on mid perch with a CAI and 5 star tune. When I went to mid perch I lost a few MPG, not sure exactly how much but a loss. Do you think going back to stock for the trip would help. Gas is an issue for this trip

Either way it's a brick on wheels, so it doesn't seem like it would effect gas mileage, but with so many out there, someone should be able to answer this.

How many miles on the truck? Check the rack on the drivers side also. Another good source of noise as they get miles on them. Some do it new

I've been at mid perch sence new I have about 8000 miles and it's making some noise in the front passenger side but no handling issues and I don't spend much time off-road and if I do I'm hunting so I'm putting around.

I started reading this post because I am hearing and feeling a knocking on both sides, but mostly on the passenger side, when going over bumps at all speeds. This is all good info- I will be inspecting all of these areas. Thank you folks for sharing.

2014 Raptor Behavior Post Mid-Perch Mod

I am a first time Ford owner and bought a new 2014 Roush Raptor. I adjusted to mid perch following on line instructions using a spring compressor. Disconnected tie rods and torqued to spec when finished. Had the dealer perform an alignment and a general inspection. All checked out ok.

Later I noticed a "clunk" sound coming from front passenger side when hitting small to medium size potholes and equivalent. The drivers side front is quiet over same bumps. In addition, I tested the four wheel drive system for the first time and noticed a severe "binding/vibration" that shook the steering wheel under acceleration. I returned to dealer and recreated both issues. They reassured me that the mid perch adjustment wouldn't cause any of this and put it up on the lift (full droop) and drove in four wheel drive under vibration. It suddenly stopped "binding/vibrating". Everything else was tight and checked out ok. Since then the "binding/vibration" has not returned but the mysterious "clunk" remains... Any thoughts to solve this issue?
