I LOVE the on-road handling of my Gen2. Recent 1200mi trip and the ride quality was superb. I frequently drive long distances and then off-road the heck out my rig and then drive home.

I’ve been doing a good amount of miles on trails that require rock crawling capabilities. The factory running boards provide insufficient protection. Mine are already bent up.

Would like to add KHC Sliders and Skid Plates (300#+?) and have a GFC Topper going on (340#) plus a 1-200# of gear often loaded.

***How do I maintain OEM ride quality and clearance?***

I wanna stick with factory wheels and tires.

with that weight you need deaver leaf 3hd and that will ride a bit firmer than stock, hydraulic bumps are advisable if your wallet is prepared and then your front is going to need springs and they will be a bit firmer too, fox 3s or king shocks are the way to go if your wallet is still fat
