My local DT is stellar, I never go anywhere else.

I’ve been going to discount all my life without issue, this is the first time to this location due to a move and closing of my usual location. Definitely wasn’t impressed with this location, dropped off at noon, started at 530, finished at 630, flat at 633. I’ll update what they say when I get there in the AM. I’m thinking new tire and wheel, and maybe a car wash…

Well on a positive note first issue that wasn't caused by Ford.

Discount Tire is horrendous so not surprised.

I once had a sports car car and purchased a new set of wheels for it. I took it to my favorite DT store for the tire swap and balance. The tire tech accidentally cut a tire on the machine while removing it and destroyed it. They didn’t have the same brand and size in stock. The manager apologized and compensated me by installing a brand new set of 4 tires at no charge. I have been using this store exclusively for all of my tire needs.

We're all human and people make mistakes. It's all about how the service provider handles the situation after.

That sucks. Wheel is fine, tire might be toast if you drove on it a ways.

Don’t go in there demanding crap, let them have a chance to fix and make it right. They will definitely appreciate that and remember you versus asking for a car wash and new tire and wheel etc... yeah it sucks but shyt happens. Give the kids a break, he probably already got reamed over it.

Valve stem came off, wasn’t seated properly or was damaged during install. Can confirm no cuts or nails in the tire, not to mention had a wheel speed whooshing sound for 2-3 seconds before bead popped. Just left Discount tire 3 mins before this happened after new wheels were installed.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence! That sucks pretty hard.
