If they are both behind the grill are they attached to the grill itself? Or will they remain to the truck when the hood is opened? If so I recommend doing the comparison photos with the hoods opened so there is no interference with light distribution..being that two different companies two different reflector types it just seems as if it would be another arguable variable

This must be new. I would have opted for the 30degree at least, possibly the 12 had I known there were options

Hey buddy I believe you did get the 30degree model

Thanks! This helped me make my decision. Definitely going with the Rigid 40" LED on my truck. Thanks for the pics.

Well I received the M&R 40" bar yesterday and I must say initial quality is impressive. Nicely built bar very similar to my Rigid.

Not knocking one of the other but here are the physical differences:

As far as appearance wise, the main noticable difference is the M&R has more of a chrome/reflector look to it just due to the fact that the LED modules are more flat than Rigids. The Rigid has a larger "dip in" towards the LED light itself. The only other differences are that the screws that hold the chrome/mirrored LED module into place are a little more larger and more noticable on the M&R and the actual LED doesnt have a "dome cap" over them like the Rigids do. The fact that the "dome cap" is missing sort of creates a yellow effect.

All of that is purely cosmetic. A vs B.

The real test shortly.... fired up.

Coming soon.

My 2012 has a Rigid 40". Been wanting to try an M&R bar for a while. I ordered a 40" M&R for the 2013 Raptor today. Hopefully it'll come next week and I'll post up some side by side vs shots of the 2 bars.

can you drive with the light bar on???

Sorry guys... no pics tonight. Raining.

Install went well and so far both lights appear about the same. As others have said, the M&R bar has a little more "flood" effect vs the Rigid combo bar.

Very nice for the $$$.

Pics soon.

Damn rain.... What is this... Monsoon season? PICS!!!!! Gotta get some lights before TRR
