Lug Nuts

Guys, I am looking at getting an air impact wrench for my off-road C02 tank. What size socket for the lug nuts do I need to get?

damnit... I totally wanted to post that and him not be able to see me helping him.

For those who are new, the search function on the forum isn't the best and doesn't like things that are 3 letters or less. So Lug Nuts for example is not going to bring up the most relevant search, so your best bet is to use your favorite search engine, google, yahoo, etc... Which will give you more relevant information and ultimately the answer. IE...here is a hit from only a couple months ago

@RW, thanks for responding but I don't think you get it for me. You both help me by responding what size and then go on to put me down for not using search. It's like a passive aggressive group response. Yeah, I know how to use search and google but figured I could ask real quick and get a response. YJ responded in the first post exactly what I was asking, done and I thank him for that and it could just end there.

I've heard the both of you are very nice folks and to be honest, I would love to meet the both of you on a Raptor Run one day. But I have chosen to put you on an ignore list because every response that you have given me is degrading and that is the only reason I did it. I felt bad what I have done because I have responded back inappropriately to some of some of your posts (as a backlash) and even sent YJ a PM the other day telling him that I was sorry to him and you. I don't know what I have done to upset you as I don't feel I started it in the first place.

See on the opposite end of the spectrum, I don't think you get it from us... Embedded in your post above is an apology that I will except... The one you sent to YJ via PM was extremely lacking and the type of apology our parents would have smacked us in the mouth for giving. As far as me being degrading, I will have to strongly disagree. You attacked me on behalf of a stranger that you felt I treated unfairly....ok... While it is very noble for you to be the defender of the meek, again I will say that I want to see how you feel about the issue when the 80th person has asked you if your frame is bent... how about when the 20th person has commented on or posted 90 ft jump guys video to your Facebook. Apparently I've become a curmudgeon in my two years here, but your responses show alot about you too my friend.

The draw of this forum for us was the light-heartedness and the way people could joke with eachother and still be friends. Then we got to meet alot of people in person and holy crap it was like every Raptor owner was awesome and like minded. But when people start getting so offended over the little stuff, I feel like the forum is heading toward the way of an almost dead competitor, whats next banned members.. oh wait..

Not trying to degrade you at all, never did, but there is alot that has been seen and said in the two years I have been here... even more so for the people who where here 2 years before me... Maybe a little more listening and a little less **** buddy, that is all.

I had read 21mm before but when I tried a new 21mm on the lug nuts of my '14 SE wheels it was a little loose. Went with a 13/16" instead. Your truck will be here soon so you may want to take it to a local hardware store and test fit both.

Regarding the 13/16" socket, it will fit. But at as the truck ages, the nuts get larger and you have to go to the 21mm.
