Thats the issue with all car brands here where i live. There is 1 or 2 dealer of each brand. If there are 2 of the same brand, they belong together. So no matter what car you buy, same issue.

As an example. Harley Davidson shut down all his stores in this region of mexico. If you own a Harley, your closest store is now 10 hours away.

But back to my problem.

I will collect more evidence and then i gonna hit them again with it. Let’s see.

My 2023 R with 9000 miles started doing this exact same sound today as well. Came here right away and found this thread. I only drove around the block and came back to the house. It ticks exactly like that just idling in the driveway. Seems to get more pronounced when I hit the brakes or accelerate. At first I thought it was a stick caught in a wheel or the driveline, but like I said it does it sitting still. Next thought was something in the fan or belt, but the sound is coming from the back of the engine/transmission. Seems to get more pronounced when accelerating or braking almost like the tension/torque change shifts whatever it is to hit whatever it is hitting a little more. Will report back if I find anything

New here, just picked up a 2024 R Friday last week, dealership had it running when I took possession. Got it home, woke up the next morning to what appears to be the same noise, every morning on cold starts. Does not do it again all day. Only makes the noise in gear, accelerating. I have an appointment at the dealership later this week, but seems to be driveline related.

Let us know what they say...was hoping a 23 only issue...now I'm going to cringe starting one up every morning  I too picked mine up last Friday in TX. Sounds like a Coke can...or for the guy in Mexico a body dragging underside.

No one here since start of the thread has an answer from a dealer? Everyone just dealing with it?
