Maybe also theres a lot of oil build up in intake plenam or perhaps in intercooler? How does the air filter look? Any obstructions?

This looks like the intake opening is collapsing when it gets warm and soft. Its a known problem discovered by Cobb Tuning. They even captured it on video while trying to figure it out. They also have several parts available to help “fix” it.

I think that problem was for 3rd gens from reading about it.

@thatJeepguy I just went for a 20min drive after letting the truck warm up and the intercooler shutters stayed closed 99.9% of the drive. They would show 20-30% for a few seconds then back to 0%.

@Fire Ball 20min drive 60mph average IAT 87-89* with 78* outside temp. CAC was 110-120*. IAT2 was 120*+ the whole time. Seen up to 130* IAT2 while driving.

Malfunctioning sensor ? Fans not coming on or are fried and overheating?
