Totally ok for disabled vets of any age and men of a mature age, which is a bit subjective of course. Just like it is ok for a man to ride on the back of a scooter or motorcycle- if they have just crashed on track. You gotta watch those blanket statements ;-)
That is TOTALLY not the point! I use the stripper pole and a fist clamp for a rifle rest. Sometimes.
Pictures. Or it never happened.

The p!mp slap is strong in this one.
Some of us went through the same drama 4 years ago. Yeah, I agree, the tailgate step is legit and used to be a great buy in, and I’m definitely not a fan of the proposed ’22 packaging.
I took a ration or cr@p here from a bunch of users for my pre-purchase check list, hacked together from a post on here from other purchasers who had encountered trouble. I was at the stealership for almost 4 hours, got pictures from every angle inside and out, checked fluids, tires, cables, battery connections, hoses, clamps and anything else I could get my hands on or see. Test drove it for a while, came back, checked it again, made sure every button, dial, lever etc. did something expected, radio, satellite, sync - all before the saleslady walked me through everything. Then we did paperwork, which took under 30 minutes. It would have been less but I bought spare keys, programmed. At least I didn’t have a radiator hose pop off on the way home. That did happen to someone here.
So add me to your consult for next purchase list, happy to give you some pointers.
