Soooo, I may have taken my truck in for this recall without returning to stock. Oops.

I’m NA with Stainless Works LT and a CAI. The service sheet said they reprogrammed the PCM. I called JDM unsure if this wiped my tune and they said it probably did. They said I wouldn’t be able to return to stock or reload the custom tune if Ford wiped it.
I went outside, loaded the tune, and the truck took it without any issue. I returned to stock, and again, the truck took it without issue. I then loaded the tune again aaand? The truck took it. I called JDM and told them the info I was looking at. They said I should be all set.

Just wanted to share my mistake in case anyone is in the same boat. I will update if my engine blows up.

Yeah,if you read my thread from couple weeks ago,Ford said doing recall would mess it up,so leave alone...Ford said to call Shelby,Shelby said to call Whipple, and still waiting for answer from Whipple..So around and around we go.....

Yeah, if you have the SCT Handheld Tuner device with your stock tune and tune from a tuner on it, is not a problem.
The problem is the people who buy a used Raptor, usually do not get the Tuning device with the truck.

My truck came with the tuner in center console, but nothing was on it. :(

That's strange, your truck SC or NA?
NA. Previous owner did a LOT of mods to it. Had everything EXACTLY as I wanted it. Tuner in truck, found several weeks after purchase. Bought truck at dealer, so no way to get in touch with previous owner.

You have to email them every couple of days, Whipple is still a small company and Michael does not always remember.
They do it to me as well. Luckly, I haven't had an issue in years (knock on wood) and I'm not upgrading any more.

Took my Roush tuned truck to an authorized Roush dealer today per instructions from Roush. The dealership opened a service ticket with Roush and Roush replied that my truck (recently SC'd) received the updated program in March and that nothing more needs to be done. Third time (to a dealer) was the charm.
